Thank you peeps for all the well wishes...I hope she is doing fine. It has been like this for the past few years so I am quite okay, all I can do now is pray for her to have a save operation which I dont know when. Seeing her suffer with all the needles poking her arms while doing the dialysis can really make me teared at one point of time...but now I guess there isnt any more tears that could come out from my eyes coz I have got so accustom to it.(Its not that I have no more symphaty but only God knows) But seeing her lying in bed make me realize how she has actually been strong to face the challenge with 2 major illnesses that I think I myself could not have manage despite the fact of my age. Imagine having cancer & kidney failure?
What my mum is going through...
Arteriovenous Graft
If you have small veins that won't develop properly into a fistula, you can get a vascular access that uses a synthetic tube implanted under the skin in your arm. The tube becomes an artificial vein that can be used repeatedly for needle placement and blood access during hemodialysis. A graft doesn't need to develop as a fistula does, so it can be used sooner after placement, often within 2 or 3 weeks.
Compared with fistulas, grafts tend to have more problems with clotting or infection and need replacement sooner, but a well-cared-for graft can last for several years.
One kind of AV graft.
And today...the doctor has decide to do this(see below) while finding a way to replace a new artificial graph(above). Her previous artificial graph has got blood clot. So this will be a temporary way to do her dialysis...Its really painful having a cathether on the neck & the needle to go through the vein is so near to the heart. MasyaAllah!

To CHEER myself up at work while I want to pass the time away I decided to do this:

I hope you like it Crab...This may look quite similar to one of my skin but still there is this "Exclusive" touch to it...haha.
Have a great loooong weekend peeps. I shall be celebrating Haziq's 6th birthday tomorrow... time has really fly & he shall be in Primary 1 next year.
